Our client, a leading utilities provider, is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer. The Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering transformational customer experiences that consistently meet or exceed expectations. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and developing digital solutions for a high-impact web portal serving electricity, gas, and telecommunications clients. As a technical leader, you will collaborate closely with developers, solution architects, and stakeholders to drive quality software delivery while mentoring and fostering growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality digital solutions.
  • Architecture & Analysis: Contribute to system analysis, functional and technical design, and feasibility assessments.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop unit, integration, and automated UI/API tests to ensure software excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in development processes and business practices.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, BA, and UX specialists to deliver quality solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Delivery: Transform Product Owner Vision into Customer-Centric Solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Angular, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Typescript.
  • Experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web API, and XUnit.
  • Knowledge of Azure (preferred but not essential).
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, and scalable architecture.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven industry experience, with leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Tertiary qualification in technology or equivalent industry experience.
