About the Role:
Our client, a prominent Business & Tax Advisory (BTA) practice, is seeking talented Accountants to deliver exceptional tax, accounting, and business advisory services to a diverse client base. This role provides significant learning opportunities, access to high-quality clients, and clear pathways for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements.
Income Tax Returns for various entity types.
Providing tax advice and preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).
Managing compliance with Division 7A and trust distributions.
Supporting corporate groups with a strong understanding of all business structures.

Minimum Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or equivalent in Australia. Master’s degrees or other fields (e.g., finance, economics) are generally not considered unless paired with extensive relevant experience.
Experience: Relevant Australian experience within an accounting firm (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred) that provides tax, accounting, and general business services. Overseas experience does not translate.
Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, tax returns, BAS, and tax advice.
A solid understanding of corporate structures and group compliance requirements.

Success in This Role Is Measured By:

Efficient and effective use of time.
Quality and completeness of work with minimal review points.
For managerial positions: team performance and ability to guide and support staff.
