Our client is highly respected organisation, who provides services and supports to thousands of individuals around Australia. With multiple locations around Canberra, this vital Government organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies, and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for Australia’s most vulnerable.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their Technology Uplift Program team. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of diverse and varied projects, centred around a large-scale digital transformation that is currently underway.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with program, business and technical stakeholders to effectively discover, define, validate, prioritise and continuously manage requirements
- Examine and organise requirements to record dependencies, relationships and identify logical sequences.
- Synthesise business and technical requirements/concepts and present them in simple terms.
- Study the system being implemented to become a subject matter expert on the system functionality.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years, working in a similar role performing business analysis activities.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with technical SME’s to define and obtain an understanding of business needs.
- Proven experience, of at least 2 years, in a role relating to cloud platforms (preferably Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure) including delivery of new services.
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency.
