The Role:

Join our client in the Utilities sector as a Technical Data Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making. The Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and capture requirements and elicit business needs.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to support decision-making and ensure data accuracy.
  • Define and document business rules and logic to enable effective data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong SQL querying skills with the ability to extract, analyse, and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst, specifically in projects involving:
      • Data ingestion into warehouses.
      • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
      • Delivery of reports and insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent documentation skills for creating clear and comprehensive requirement specifications.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models.
  • Familiarity with Power BI development for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
