Technician

Our client a leading electronics manufacturer is seeking a Technician to join their team in Minchinbury, NSW on an Initial 12 month contract. This role involves testing base station antennas used in mobile communications, with no prior experience required-just a willingness to learn and a keen interest in electronics, telecommunications, or RF technology.

What You’ll Do:

Perform basic RF testing on antennas and filters
Use specialized test equipment (Network Analyzers, Passive Intermodulation Analyzers)
Conduct root cause analysis of test results
Maintain accurate records and manage time efficiently
Work onsite in Minchinbury (2 days per week, typically 6 AM – 2 PM with overtime available)

What We’re Looking For:

Engineering students (2nd year or above) or TAFE students in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunications – an advantage but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Computer literate with good record-keeping skills
Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Ability to work overtime if required
