We are working with a major Queensland State Government department looking to hire a Technology Transition Lead across Dynamics 365.

Scope of Position

The Technology Transition Lead is responsible for guiding the technical operational readiness efforts within the organization to prepare the business users for the launch.

This role will work with project teams to provide guidance and support on operational and technology requirement needs for Dynamics 365 support.

The Technology Transition Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all operational support aspects are prepared and aligned for a smooth transition of the project that meets the project’s objectives and supports the wider support operational requirements the business.

The role will ensure that the technological changes are implemented smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operations and services.

The Technology Transition Lead will report to Director of Digital Solutions.

Criteria for success

Advise, review and make recommendations on the support and service models, including third party vendor support and operational workflows.

Consult and provide recommendations on an operational framework that delineates clear roles, responsibilities, and governance structures for Dynamics 365 support and development, ensuring consistent and proactive system management.

Provide high level expert advice and strategic input into the development of lifecycle management of data within the project.

Review backlog and grooming process and assist in the establishment of the (AEC) Application enhancement committee and its function within the organisation.

Oversee and provide recommendations to the design and implementation of MSP support model, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.

Provide support for project cutover, other technical deployment activities and provide guidance for hypercare issues triage.

Supervise training plan for Pre-GoLive/Hypercare/ and BAU Operational testing model

Lead and design future IT organisation structure, capability RACI, processes including ways of working, support models, roles and responsibilities.

Advise on wave releases’ operational impacts: business process, business expectation and testing model and volume of bugs/support.

Collaborate and provide high level expert advice to the Program and DBC Team by providing support and recommendation on Dynamic 365 Technology architecture
