About The Role

Our client is seeking the engagement for multiple ‘Test Analysts’ to provide support and hands-on technical expertise which amounts of effort, the levels and types of testing to be executed, test case creation and execution as well as contributing to the project test delivery in line with the Test Strategy and Plan.

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the role of testing in software development lifecycle. Strong capability in defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery based on requirements. Defect identification and management is an integral part of this role to ensure delivery of a quality product.

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline security clearance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the development of test strategies/plan and test estimates
  • Creation and documentation of test cases based on requirements and other artefacts.
  • Creating or running test reports and communicating within the project team
  • Lead Testing and UAT activities including working with the project team to facilitate the business executing UAT
  • Perform the execution of a number of test phases including System Testing and System Integration Testing
  • Defect Identification, Management and Communication

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience covering all areas of the testing lifecycle in multiple industries
  • Experience in working in a collaborative and distributed Agile environment with minimal direction and supervision which includes agile development lifecycle and practices
  • Experience in the use of Testing Tools specifically Azure DevOps
