Test Lead - Operational Technology
- Paying between $900-$940 per day inc super
- 6 months (initial) with a 6-month extension
- Implementation of a New Fleet and Asset Management System
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our dynamic team. This role will play a pivotal part in the successful implementation of a new fleet and asset management system. The Test Lead will oversee all testing activities, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, robust solution while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules to align with project goals.
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure effective management of test resources, environments, and tools.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, system integrators, and technical teams to define test requirements and objectives.
- Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor on testing best practices and quality assurance standards.
- Test Execution and Quality Assurance:
- Manage defect triaging, tracking, and resolution processes.
- Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, results, and defects.
- Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies to address potential quality concerns.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the testing process.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Test Lead in large-scale system implementation projects, preferably in fleet and asset management or similar domains.
- Strong expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Experience with modern testing tools and methodologies.
- Skills:
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, tools, and automation technologies.
- Understanding of enterprise systems, particularly fleet and asset management solutions, is advantageous.
- Qualifications:
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent is highly regarded.
