About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our dynamic team. This role will play a pivotal part in the successful implementation of a new fleet and asset management system. The Test Lead will oversee all testing activities, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, robust solution while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Leadership:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules to align with project goals.
    • Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
    • Ensure effective management of test resources, environments, and tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, system integrators, and technical teams to define test requirements and objectives.
    • Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Act as a trusted advisor on testing best practices and quality assurance standards.
  • Test Execution and Quality Assurance:
    • Manage defect triaging, tracking, and resolution processes.
    • Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, results, and defects.
    • Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies to address potential quality concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the testing process.

Key Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Test Lead in large-scale system implementation projects, preferably in fleet and asset management or similar domains.
    • Strong expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management.
    • Experience with modern testing tools and methodologies.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with testing frameworks, tools, and automation technologies.
    • Understanding of enterprise systems, particularly fleet and asset management solutions, is advantageous.
  • Qualifications:
    • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • ISTQB Certification or equivalent is highly regarded.
