The opportunity
Our client is a government organisation in the south eastern suburbs. They have a great opportunity for a UiPath Automation Tester to join a majorTechOne/OneCouncil project.

  • 6 months initial contract starting December
  • Up to $700 plus Super per day
  • Narre Warren location, minimum 2 days per week onsite

The role
As a UiPath Automation Tester, you will focus on automating key business processes, ensuring robust test coverage and maintaining the quality of our automation solutions. It will include retrofitting our current scripts on TechOne for new releases and creating new scripts for new projects and programs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Designing and developing automated test scripts using UiPath
  • Identifying test scenarios and creating reusable automation frameworks
  • Executing automated test cases, logging, and reporting results
  • Maintaining and updating existing automation scripts as required
  • Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases
  • Conducting test data management and ensuring data-driven testing where applicable
  • Identifying, logging, and tracking defects, working with developers and analysts for issue resolution
  • Providing regular progress reports on test activities and automation coverage
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of Automation test processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Tools: UiPath, JIRA Xray, Excel, Word

About you
To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Solid experience as an Automation Tester or Senior Automation Tester
  • Strong skills in developing test automations with UiPath (expected 5+ years)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a thorough understanding of automation testing processes, including script development, debugging, and test maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams
  • Experience with OneCouncil or TechOne will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work onsite in Narre Warren at least 2 days per week
  • Available to start at relatively short notice – aiming for a December start
