One of our defence clients is looking to hire multiple Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineers for a permanent role based in Adelaide. Due to the nature of the requirement, can only consider Australian Citizens.

About the Role:

The V&V Engineer will be responsible for the development and management of Test Plans, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), Test Procedures and Test Reports to ensure client’s program requirements are thoroughly tested and verified throughout all phases of the program lifecycle. This will include design verification, equipment qualification and factory testing, system integration. The V&V Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the conduct of verification activities to ensure compliance with program requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Test Plans, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), Test Procedures and Test Reports for new programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders for the development of V&V artefacts.
  • Oversee the conduct of verification activities to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Witness equipment qualification and factory testing at external suppliers and integration and system testing.
  • Work collaboratively across programs ensuring a consistent V&V approach, processes and quality is maintained.

About you

  • Bachelor of Engineering in any engineering field or Diploma for Technical Officer placements.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering frameworks, V&V and Test processes.
  • Self-starting, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prepare well-structured and concise V&V and Test documentation.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technical personnel.
