Our Client
Our client is a central agency of the Australian Government, with an important role in supporting the government’s ongoing priorities through public sector resource management, governance and accountability frameworks. From their central Canberra location, the department provides essential strategic advice and management to government across budget and financial reporting, business enabling services, commercial and Government services and governance and resource managements.
The Role
This opportunity seeks an experienced Information Architect to support the implementation of additions to a key whole-of-government website hosting platform. The Information Architect will lead design and development activities for content syndication, digital asset management and additions such as Rules as Code.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading development of content architecture
- Leading development of approaches for re-use of content
- Leading design and development of content lifecycle governance
- Supporting content-related engagement with potential producers and consumers of government content
Skills and Experience
- Experience applying information architecture, service design, digital publishing, or data modelling in an enterprise context
- Exposure to modern Content Management Systems, preferably Open Source Drupal
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience working to Agile methodology is highly desirable
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Baseline security clearance.
