Application Support Analysts
Join a Leading Global Professional Services Company to support a major government department by providing application support for business-critical systems. You’ll address root causes and ensure the swift restoration of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Analyse system performance and recommend enhancements for optimisation.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide round-the-clock support.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Monitor the performance of applications, infrastructure, and associated data services using available tools, integrating these into dashboards for service performance monitoring.
- Act as a subject matter expert for supported applications.
- Adhere to IT delivery standards, procedures, and runbooks.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage release and deployment processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in integration technologies within one or more of the following technical stacks:
- Java, J2EE technologies, Greenplum Database, PostgreSQL
- IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM WBI Message Broker
- Siebel operational support and CRM COTS product support
