You will require strong stakeholder engagement skill and exposure to delivering Information Technology projects regarding material management/warehousing and track and trace capability.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Significant relevant experience in project management especially in delivering complex digital transformation projects including direct experience in material management or warehousing and track & trace capability in a technology space is essential
  • An ability to articulate project strategy/purpose and link to project objectives and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal with proven experience in partnering with internal and external parties to understand and articulate outcomes being sought by the project and translating this into a schedule for execution
  • Experience or exposure using MS Project, Confluence and Jira is not mandatory for the role but will be looked on favourably
  • An ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels coupled with an understanding and challenging existing way of working to enable innovative working style and successful outcomes
  • Whilst not essential, degree qualification in project management or another relevant discipline will be highly regarded

We are seeking a Senior Injury Management Advisor for a state government client. This is an initial contract until the end of March 2025, with a potential for extension. As a Senior Injury Management Advisor, you will be responsible for case management and occupational rehabilitation services for employees, as well as providing support for health and safety programs designed to reduce workplace injury.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and specialist advice to Business Partners, managers, and staff in relation to wellbeing, workers compensation, early intervention programs, return to work, and injury management.
  • Liaise with the Department’s workers compensation insurer in relation to claim management.
  • Monitor injury management and workers compensation claims performance and provide data to management for reviews against KPIs.
  • Develop and promote injury management strategies that focus on early recovery and return to work.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field.
  • Relavant experience as an Injury Management Advisor or similar
  • Government experience – desirable
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment – desirable
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work across locations within metropolitan Victoria – desirable
