The Role:

The Lead Systems Engineer will lead a team of 4 while managing the clients datacentre and server environments, including analysis, design, installation, maintenance of their operational function.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex and major infrastructure and performance incidents
  • Automate server Operating System patching
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and standards for systems functions
  • Manage internal and external 2nd and 3rd level support engineers and escalate to the Infrastructure Manager as required
  • Maintain all files and records in an up-to-date and accurate manner

You will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in leading a small team of system administrators
  • Experience building and deploying Windows 10 SOE/MOE in enterprise environments
  • Strong skills hardening, securing, and automating AD environments, including Office 365 and Azure.
  • Proven experience in building and managing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent

Key Responsibilities
