Talent International is currently recruiting for an APS6 Case Management x 10 to work for a NSW Government client based in Surry Hills & Parramatta. The position is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The role pays $60.26/hour + Super.

7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week

The APS6 Case Management is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.

The position is a team leadership position within the client and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities. The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision-making for the Team Membership within the work area.

The APS6 Case Management has reasonable autonomy and accountability to exercise both initiative and judgment to interpret legislation and policy, in the application of practices and procedures to achieve outcomes within the functions.

The position is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, and operational support and advice about complex problems. Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the client’s objectives.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking end-to-end case management activities, subject to appropriate line manager input and oversight.
  • Resolving matters through case management of AAT applications in relation to reviewable decisions in section 100 of the NDIS Act 2013, including NDIS plan and access decisions.
  • Undertaking case management of complex AAT matters and analysing to develop options for early resolution.
  • Obtaining necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters.
  • Applying alternate dispute resolution methods and advocacy skills to resolving applications/reviews, in keeping with the model litigant principles.
  • Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
  • Preparing documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings.
  • Assessing and responding to priorities and risks, including risk to the participant, Scheme sustainability and the client.
  • Preparing and maintaining electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision-making processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process.

Key skills required for the role:

  • Individual Case Management of matters involving risk and vulnerable participants.
  • Experience interpreting information and legislation to reach an agreed resolution.
  • Decision-making skills and the ability to justify decisions based on evidence.

The APS 5 Policy Analyst is a project-based position, playing a key role in supporting policy analysis, consultation, and strategic planning within an assigned IEP project area. The role will be focused on investigating the NDIS planning process, and factors contributing to NDIS plan budgets and outcomes. Advice will be based on document review, stakeholder consultation, existing policies and legislation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for the IAM solution, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology projects, ideally within Identity and Access Management (IAM) or security-related initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, access control, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements and translating them into actionable specifications.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams and bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with IAM platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Azure AD, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in creating process documentation, flowcharts, user stories, and business cases.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or security-focused projects.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is preferred but not essential.
